MONDAY MOODBOARD

It's warm, it is beautiful. Someone wise even thought about cleaning sidewalks and lawns after the winter (ugh...). A day is already longer so you want to go and rock the city. I pulled out my white coat of the closet and even wore a skirt today. On the nose I put my sunglasses. I walk with headphones in my ears listening to cheerful music and buy some strawberries in store. Some say that at this time of year they're pure chemistry. But I don't care and eat them on the way back home.

I like my apartment, especially now. It's the most beautiful in spring and summer when it's really sunny. All colors, even white, seem to be warmer. I have windows on the West - it's bright the whole day, happy me, because for years I used to have windows on the North and the only plus was that in my room at home in Suwalki were the best conditions for growing orchids ... Here in Warsaw things are different. In summer I have to have the blinds lowered even all day - otherwise I would have my own Greece on the 9th floor.

I read books. I am finishing the interviews by Oriana Fallaci, yesterday I also finished the latest book by Małgorzata Musierowicz that I got as a gift for my birthday. It's like a heat to my soul to read "Jeżycjada". I would like to have all the titles in this series. I have a lot of plans regarding reading - I have in my mind the next positions all the time, they are so various. My list of "books to read" never seems to run out. I have the impression that it's not henough life to read them all.

Ludzie przychodzą i odchodzą, falami. Friends will be friends.

I meet with family and friends, we talk about everything. I try to find time for everyone to cultivate contacts. Everyone's so busy, lacks the time and energy. Maybe the spring will change it soon. Sun brings miracles. Soon we will go for bikes and again we'll be eating pizza and drinking beer at PKP Powiśle. Even if we would be a little cold in the legs.
People come and go, like waves. Sometimes when I think how many people have passed through my life when I was a student and how much of these relationships have survived ... sometimes there is nothing more than a sigh. The reasons were different. I believe that if someone cares, it's not that hard to find time and will to meet. But I'm not the type who fights at all costs. It must be a partnership, not a one-sided "gaining" of one's attention. Friends will be friends.

Wiosną i latem pomaga wstać i dodać energii.

Well, it's good that winter is going to be over soon. I will replace these warm, cinnammon scents with some refreshing and citrus ones. Aromatherapy helps to survive winter, enfolds you when a warm scarf is not enough. And in spring and summer it makes it easier to wake up and have more energy. With the coming of spring many of us are re-gaining confidence that there is a what to live for, to get up in the morning, go and do some everyday shopping. I hate routine, everyday life, and I do not like predictability. But in the spring, even these seem to be more friendly. And tomorrow I will go to Hala Mirowska and buy myself dome flowers. Pink ones.
