On beauty.

Bo z jednej strony to oczywiste, że dzięki ładnej buzi można wiele zyskać - pan policjant potraktuje nas łagodniej, dostaniemy zniżkę w sklepie, dziecko wyciągnie do nas rączki.

Naprawdę piękna i mądra.

Najważniejsze to polubić siebie. Znać swoje wady i zalety.

"Paulina, write a post - pretty people have a better life" And so I was going to do. I 've been thinking on it for a few days, analyzing the 'problem'. Because, on the one hand, it is obvious that with a pretty face you can gain a lot - a cop will treat you gently, you'll get a discount at the store, a child will pull its hands to you. On the other hand, this beauty sometimes "hurts" - as, in her latest single "Pretty Hurts", sings Beyonce. Such sticking of "patches" is unnecessary. Often this pretty face covers a lot of problems. And it is harder for a beautiful girl to gain a sympathy of uglier girlfriends. Not to mention the fact that at work it will be better to co-operate rather mainly with men.

Yes, you can write a lot about that. But - is it worth it? I deliberately abandoned this volatile topic that I could dedicate today's post to. I will not throw platitudes like "What matters is inside." Sure, that counts. But searching for the one, we first pay attention to one's appearance. Because you simply cannot see a good heart or stability ...

So what's with all this beauty? The idea to write about the fact that pretty people have an easier life was given to me by a girlfriend. Really beautiful and smart one. Watched by more than a half of men in the street (I saw it myself!). About which everybody would clearly say 'attractive'. The problem is that she doesn't see it herself. Complementing other people, she forgets that fact that she is unique.

Beauty is a relative thing. Something that seems to be mediocre for one, others would really like. The thing is to like yourself. Know your advantages and disadvantages. To be able to see what's unique in you and to laugh at your own mistakes. Enjoy success. Be aware of yourself - but not to be vain. It's difficult, but extremely valuable feature, which is learnt with age. And when someone tells you a sincere compliment, just thank. Because that's what is beautiful.

Dlaczego ludzie piszą blogi? Why do people write blogs?

I love my life" etc...

Why have I decided to write a blog? Why do people sit in front of their computers and, clicking on the keyboard, expose not only themselves, but also their innermost thoughts?
For some of them blog provides a springboard from their everyday life - such people - every day dressed in uncomfortable suits or other clothes designed "for work", cannot, and often do not want to, show their true nature. Thus, the office "Iron Lady" after returning home becomes an enthusiastic French kitchen aficionado, and informs about it the whole world, under her alias - of course. Silent computer scientist, programmer, dressed in a plaid flannel shirt, on his blog devoted to horticulture, reveals the secrets of growing geraniums.

Some bloggers see their blog as a source of income. The more clicks, the more likely advertisers put their proposals of shopping sites of online stores. I see nothing wrong with that, as long as the blog is really interesting, and the  publishing
person does have something more to say than "I love my life" etc ...

I think blogs are also written due to an excess of free time, they are created on impulse, or - on the contrary - the idea of writing them have stuck in one's head for a long time but some force successfully blocked their start. I am the last of the abovementioned cases.

A change of my life situation (directly speaking - I quit my job) made me have more free time which allows me to materialize my thoughts. And I usually have too many of them in my head.
